Having Fitness Trainer Insurance Can Protect You
When you look around at what insurance policies are available to you in the world of fitness trainer insurance, you have a lot to consider. Most important in that world, perhaps, is what exactly is covered if you do have an unfortunate occurrence. If you are in that position, the last thing you want is uncertainty in your coverage. What exactly is covered by fitness trainer insurance policies? There can be some vagaries in them, but in general, I want to present three protections you should be able to expect from a reputable fitness trainer insurance company. Let me explain a little more.
First, medical expenses by the injured party. This is important, because you want to protect those you are instructing. Depending on the policy you bought, it might or might not also cover expenses incurred due to lost income related to the injury, as well as any legal expenses incurred as a result of that claim arising.
Your policy could also cover any damages to the facility you were training inside; example: if you’re renting a facility in which to train your clients. (This is particularly useful if the sports accident that caused an injury also caused damage to the floor or equipment inside of the facility.)
These protections are critical to know, and it can be a measure of your agent as to whether or not he tells you about these protections.
