Diving Experience
I had decided it had been time. I had usually wondered about diving so when I seen a low cost deal for understanding to dive with accommodation included, on a small island by the good barrier reef, I snapped it up.
I must have been so excited becasue were we stayed was horrendous!
Where we stayed was a tent with a plastic material covering us and it was not the cleanest either, ahhh well……it’s an adventure once you travel hey and for me it had been much more about the diving!
– Day 1
Finding out to dive was fantastic! Sitting inside outside classroom as it was far too hot to become inside, we had been taught about the mechanics of diving, the do’s and don’ts when diving, how to become safe when diving and how we get the ideal out of dive products and what we were getting taught. Watching the DVDs was genuinely great as you could visual what you were about to accomplish, you are able to see how you’d look when diving and what you may see. Even the diving exam paper was simple since it is multiple choice! It was a great Diving programme
Day 2
Now we could really be in the water with diving gear. Heart beating faster with exhilaration, laughing at how funny every other looks with big rubber suits on many this products that you’ll think you are off on a space mission with, not just a dive! And how heavy it truly is as well! That’s something they do not tell you that once you 1st book. Right…mask on and my head slowly goes under the water using the breathing kit in my mouth, that I learnt was as a regulator. WOW….What a feeling!
Mastering the skills was hard. Getting your mask off seems straightforward, and it absolutely was in pool water but I was not searching forward to perform it in the ocean with salt water
So many things were new and exciting and tested me to the max. It was hard, every thing is in my book but theory and practical are very different. I mean totally different! After a while a became a pro though.. I was good to go within the ocean, well, so my instructor said, I was not so certain! More info about my learn to dive experience here
