Depression and Anger : different emotions but are both difficult to handle
Depression and anger are both negative emotions.But they still seem to be different from each other.One of the two emotions can be be seen by people exhibited by an affected person. While the other can be unnoticeable.
As a family counselor San Diego I have seen both emotions. Both of them if too serious need addressing. They are not issues you can leave alone and hope to go way.If you are angry you might cause pain physically or emotionally to other people. In the case of depression you can harm yourself.
So let’s take a look at anger first. Anger is a dangerous emotion.It is natural and is experienced from time to time by all people.But sometimes people let it all out without consideration.It could seem to be unctrollable sometimes.If you let it get the best of you then that’s a problem.But those times are the times when you must suppress it. Anger can hurt other people physically as well emotionally. If it gets too much you need to seek some anger management San Diego.
The other one is depression.It may be unnoticed not like anger where it is very obvious when experienced. Mainly because a lot of people hold their depression in.But it will get noticed eventually. When it does become noticeable, usually it is a sign that someone needs professional help.Why would a depressed person need professional help? Because a person severly depressed can do harm to themselves. So it is dangerous because people hide it. If a person gets to the point of severe depression they need professional help such as depression counselor.
It is difficult when handling emotional problems.Most of the people affected by these problems think they can solve it on their own.Or they feel like they can handle it on their own without anybody’s help.But it is at that time that they need to seek help the most.It is unacceptable for them. But when you are dealing with emotions that can bring harm to themselvesand others, you need to.
