We see a big jump in TV audience size due to the “pocket cam” era. More players are coming to the live events, making winning prizes look like lottery tickets. We have a growing industry, but then poker got lucky.

We are now seeing celebrities showing up at the big poker events, where the poker stars are the super celebrities. Thanks to the perfect timing of these events, poker is generating huge amounts of money. The online poker industry is simply a monster, and showing no signs of slowing down.
