Why Do You Swim?
These days more and more people are getting into fitness daily. Either they are attending the gym for workout session or local swimming pools leisure centre for a fitness regime. So are these the only reasons why people use the swimming pool?
I recently wrote a blog post asking different online audiences a question on why they go swimming. There were huge responses from different social media sites such as Digg, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit and StumbleUpon with various different answers.
Lots of people siad that they enjoy light workouts in the pool. Few said that it helps them relax their mind. Some said that they like to use it to relax their body and mind after a hard day of work. Some said that it helps them stretch their body after a heavy work out. Some said that they enjoy physical contact in the pool with their partner but let’s not go into too much detail on that one, even though I know you would like to. Other answers are as follows: having a gathering with friends and playing some games in the pool, getting away from husbands and wives and admire other bodies (it was not me who answered this), weight loss programs and several other examples.
Looks like most epeople swim for fitness program. It is indeed a fantastic equipment to reduce your weight or tone your body up. I enjoy swimming at least three to four days a week. To be honest with you I have my own pool in my property, which I use in regular basis. These days you can get above ground pools for your houses, which can come in great use. It might get tough cleaning and maintaining the pool but you can get swimming pool pumps, chemicals and other equipments online in really good prices. Bear in mind that you will need to clean the pool atleast once every 3 to 4 weeks.
